NEW DELHI: WeWork India Management has announced expansion plans across Hyderabad, Pune and Bengaluru, adding around 7,700 desks as part of its capacity augmentation strategy.
In a regulatory filing, the company said it has entered into a sub-lease deed for 1,45,114 sq ft in Hyderabad, which is expected to add approximately 2,100 desks. The centre is slated to become operational on or before July 2026, with an estimated investment of ₹32 crore to be funded through internal accruals and debt.
The company had also previously entered into a leave and license agreement for 1,62,665 sq ft in Pune. The proposed addition of around 2,500 desks is expected to be completed on or before August 2026, involving an investment of about ₹36 crore, financed through a mix of internal accruals and debt.
Additionally, WeWork India has entered into a lease deed for 1,69,485 sq ft in Bengaluru, which will result in the addition of approximately 3,100 desks. The Bengaluru expansion is targeted for completion on or before September 2026, with an estimated investment of ₹42 crore to be funded through debt and internal accruals.
WeWork India currently has an operational capacity of 1,21,638 desks, with existing utilisation at 83.9%, as per the filing.
The company said the capacity additions are aimed at catering to incremental demand and strengthening its operational footprint in line with business growth.
