South Indian actress Nayanthara and husband Vignesh Shivan acquired a duplex apartment in the Legacy project, Poes Garden, Chennai, for Rs 31.5 crore.
According to data from Zapkey the property was purchased from Landmark Metro Projects.
The deal value stood at Rs 21,946 per sq ft. Nayanthara holds 90% ownership, Vignesh Shivan the rest.
“The 4th and 5th floor unit at 401 covers 14,369 sq ft super built-up area and includes 5,308 sq ft undivided land share. It comes with eight covered parking slots. Market value registered at Rs 40 crore, attracting 7% stamp duty of Rs 2.8 crore”, it said.
The purchase follows Nayanthara’s work in pan-India films. She and Vignesh Shivan married in 2022 and have twins.
