NEW DELHI: WeWork India Management has signed two lease agreements in Bengaluru to expand its flexible workspace portfolio, adding over 4,100 desks across more than 2.46 lakh sq ft of office space, according to a regulatory filing.
The company has taken on lease 95,351 sq ft and 1,51,201 sq ft of space in separate transactions. These additions are expected to be operational by June 2026.
It plans to invest approximately ₹60 crore: ₹28 crore for the first facility and ₹32 crore for the second, funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt.
The expansion will add around 1,829 desks in one facility and approximately 2,327 desks in another, taking the total incremental capacity to about 4,156 desks.
WeWork India currently operates with an existing capacity of 1,21,638 desks, with an occupancy level of 83.9%, indicating sustained demand for flexible workspace solutions.
